Privacy Policy

My Car Finder is committed to protecting your privacy while helping you find your parked car. This privacy policy explains how we handle your location data.

Required Permissions

My Car Finder requires location access to function properly. This permission is essential for saving and navigating back to your parking location.

Location Access (GPS)

The app requires access to your GPS receiver to save your car's location when you park. This location data is used solely to help you navigate back to your car and is not shared with us or any third parties.

Data Storage

Your car's parking location is stored locally on your device only. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your parking locations. All location data remains on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

No Location Tracking

My Car Finder does not track your movements or build a history of your locations. The app only saves a single parking location when you choose to save it. This location is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

Data Deletion

You can delete your saved parking location at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings. All location data is automatically removed when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

My Car Finder uses anonymous analytics to improve the app and collects crash reports to identify issues. The app displays ads to support free development. Your parking location and navigation data are not used for analytics or advertising purposes.

Offline Functionality

While navigation features may require an internet connection, your saved parking location is stored locally and can be accessed even without an internet connection.

Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on our website.
